Situated in the picturesque Fanari area just minutes from the Katavothres site is Capitol Events. This Venue is recommended for all manner of parties and occasions but especially for your perfect Greek Wedding.

Capitol is extremely well known among locals as its one of the most popular venues for Kefalonian weddings. Owned by the Kalafatis family the venue is ran meticulously by Dimitris Kalafatis. Whilst Mum and Dad still have the say in the kitchen, the details and decor of this stunning venue are implemented by Dimitris. A stunning decor is included in the package and actually even though it is a private venue there will be no venue hire fee.

Cephalonia Concierge has attended many weddings and events at Capitol and we feel it is the right venue to accommodate all manner of occasions from an intimate reception to a party for 500 people. In summer months our groups will have the advantage of the external area and beautiful gardens, with the outdoor bar and a large entertainment and dance area. There is also a large indoor area if needed.

Our guests will have complete privacy at this venue and unlike some venues we work with Capitol is only used for private parties, with this in mind our couples and groups must book early.

Capitol has tailor made special menus for Cephalonia Concierge clients, based around traditional Greek and Cephalonian plates. We feel that the traditional menu reflects the family tradition and values of this establishment and we warmly recommend it to you.
